The meeting was soon stopped when the slide came up about "Cultural Paving" which showed how the Hawaiian traditional cultural farmland would be immortalized on concrete pillars. In fact, all the rail stations have similar mix and match "Hawaiian cultural cartoons" with mix and match Hawaiian "history." There is nothing in it for local residents other than having their farmland and rural environment stolen from them forever by greedy developers and crooked self serving politicians.

At the three West Oahu Stations the local cultural history is all mixed up for the purposes of massive land development using new fake names like "East Kapolei" and "Hoopili."  Local residents were not fooled by the typical mainland "pretend Hawaiian culture" train station designs. The primary users of the rail stations will be mainland and foreigners arriving at Honolulu Airport. The land prices and land values will all be jacked up for maximum profits that will force out local residents.

West Oahu residents were more intent upon the direct reality and honesty that entire 1000 years of native Hawaiian farmland will be totally destroyed under concrete and asphalt. The lands will be used to make outside real estate developers rich with the usual Southern California urban sprawl homes, strip malls, etc. modeled after mainland and Asian rail transit developments.
